My Background
I’ve been taking family photos since 2013—and I really just stumbled upon it by chance. A friend of mine posted photos I’d taken of her children on social media, which inspired people to ask about her “photographer.” Soon, I found myself doing photos for other friends, family members and even strangers. My career as a photographer took off quickly, and today, I’m living my dream job.
When I’m not in my studio or at an on-location shoot, you’ll find me hanging out with friends and family, playing sports and browsing Pinterest (I’m crazy about crafting!). I might also be in my kitchen, enjoying a tall glass of wine while coming up with creative culinary concoctions.
What Makes Me Different?
Natural-Light Photography: I shoot most of my photos using natural light from the sun. This gives them a bright and captivating appearance that brings out the beauty and personality of my subjects. Whether you want your pictures taken in the afternoon sunshine or with a moody sunset backdrop, I’ll suggest the best poses and time of day to make your vision come alive. Not sure exactly what you want? No problem! I’ll learn a bit about you and your family and make suggestions for settings and props that will perfectly capture your family’s essence.
No-Stress Family Photos: Worried about whether your kids will “behave” during your photo shoot? Don’t be! I have lots of experience working with toddlers and babies (just call me “The Baby Whisperer”)—and have all sorts of tricks up my sleeve to help them feel at ease. Feel free to sit back, relax and I’ll take the reins. I want everyone to have fun, express themselves freely and just enjoy the ride.
