About Maggie Jill Photography

A South Shore MA studio

Maggie Jill Photography specializes in newborn, child and family photography and serves clients across the Massachusetts South Shore.

The MJP studio is a bright, sunlit space with gorgeous light that creates the perfect backdrop for natural-light images. Decorated in relaxing hues of gray and pink, with rustic flooring throughout, it has a warm, soothing vibe that clients absolutely love.

While studio lighting is preferred by many photographers, I shoot with natural light, even indoors! It produces light, airy images that you won’t find with artificial lights.

You can see the difference in my work.

A Welcoming Space for Families

I know it can be tough to get out of the house with your new baby. So don’t worry, the studio is set up to accommodate you. Just bring your little one and don’t fret about anything else! My space is full of adorable props to make your photos memorable, including tiny hats, wraps, headbands, blankets and baskets. It’s also well-stocked with baby essentials like diapers, wipes, a bottle warmer and mini-fridge. I even have bottled water, coffee and snacks on hand for tired parents or hungry toddlers.

Fun, Stress-Free Family Photo Sessions (Yes, Really!)

I often joke with new parents that I double as a babysitter--because all you have to do is show up, and I’ll do all the work. The studio has a seating area just feet from where the magic happens, so you can sit back and relax while I work with your baby. During a newborn session when the temperature is toasty and the sound machines are going, some parents even doze off.

Studio Location

The Maggie Jill Photography studio can be found in the Trackside Plaza in Stoughton, MA, a beautifully revitalized building that was once the Corcoran shoe factory—where boots were made for the military during World War II. The plaza is situated beside the commuter rail station in the heart of Stoughton’s center. It’s easily accessible from virtually anywhere due to its close proximity to Routes 27, 138 and 139.

Stoughton is a haven for small, family-friendly businesses, and full of amazing places to eat! Many of my clients head down the street and grab a bite to eat from the legendary Town Spa Pizza after their photo session. The House of Brews on Porter Street has great burgers and a nice selection of craft beer. And just around the corner on Wyman street, Stoughton Bakery has delicious pastries and fresh coffee and the best part is that it’s within walking distance!
